Hi, I’m Sally Pau!
I am in my early twenties, born and raised in Toronto. I am a digital content creator, social media strategist, and student. I have earned my diploma in Business Marketing and continue to further my studies by working towards my Bachelor of Digital Communications. I’ve always had an itch for marketing since my early high school days, but as the digital and social media world started to evolve, I grew a huge interest in digital marketing and content creation.
In 2014, I completed internship positions working for two start-up companies, Brand & Mortar and Keyobi, as a digital marketing specialist and social media strategist. Upon finishing my internship positions, I started freelancing. I worked with clients to optimize their presence on social media, developing and managing campaigns, and contributing to various online publications. I also worked as a digital content editor for Humber Students’ Federation where I developed and executed integrated digital campaigns through all social media platforms and MailChimp, engaging with students across all three Humber College campuses and University of Guelph-Humber.
With my ever-growing love and passion for the digital world, I created My Practical Blog in October 2015 as a creative outlet for me to express my thoughts, inspirations, and interests. I enjoy blogging about beauty hacks, heart-wrenching personal stories, lifestyle, my personal style, and many more! I believe in having great, compelling, and of course practical, content and that’s what I am going to do.
Disclaimer: I am fortunate to have PR companies send me products for consideration and/or review. I also purchase products with my own money and will occasionally promote them on my blog and social media platforms. All opinions expressed are 100% my honest opinions. Everything is my true and honest experience! If I do not like a product, I will not promote it or give my brutally, honest thoughts and opinions on it. As a blogger and influencer, I am passionate about transparency and helping my readers in any way possible 🙂
